Is Empower Network a scam?
So the bank left us high and dry and now we at Empower Network were left wondering what to do next. Thousands of hungry and excited affiliates wait in anticipation. What are the David’s going to do now?
Empower Network Scam
Over the next few weeks as the Empower Network corporate team deliberate and scramble to find a solution, many reps are left wondering what might happen. Many times David addresses the network, explaining what happened with the banks and what the plan for a solution looked like.
Weeks go by, and the co-founders insist there will be a solution and Empower Network has only begun.
Empower Network Scam
Meanwhile, people are setting up other payment processors like Paypal, AlertPay (shitty), and Authorize.net and continue to market, blog daily and make money.
But the majority of the network… waits patiently, watching intently for the ultimate solution, a stable solution.
Then word from David is blasted to everyone’s email inbox. They finally have a solution. By this time it’s been about 3 weeks into year 2012. Finally, a new merchant provider solution, it was time blow the lid off this baby again!
At this time Empower Network had only existed for a mere 90 days and was still paying out 10’s of thousands per week even without a permanent payment solution. It was evident that Empower Network was not going anywhere but forward.
People started getting excited about getting things rolling again. About a week later the new provider starts taking in merchant applications. Then it happened again.
This bank got cold feet too! Are you serious?! This is the kind of thing that has folks wondering if there is an empower network scam though.
As thousands of merchant applications were coming in on a daily basis this new bank began to get a bit concerned. See this is what happens when you are doing something brand new in the business world, especially on such a grand scale.
Now we had two banks that had turned us away. I think this is when David Wood began to realize that paying 100% commissions may be totally awesome, however, merchant account for everybody was not the right fit.
Back to the drawing board…
David Wood and the team at Empower Network start chalking thing out again, and they call for a live stream webinar the next day.
As they assure everyone that Empower Network is here to stay, they reveal a new plan, a plan to process payments internally. Like a miniature paypal owned and operated by the Empower Network.
I remember thinking to myself, “finally, I’ll gladly pay the company a fee to just process payments internally. This is it!”
So this is where we are right now, today. We at Empower Network are still growing and making money as we wait. It’s now February 17th, 2011. The new ‘internal’ payment processor is being integrated into the Empower Network as we speak. The goal is to have it up and running by early next week.
And then the beast will be unleashed once again. It’s going to be unbelievable. Trust me. You don’t want to stay on the sidelines for this one my friend.
